   Making CHANGE Possible 

 

           Goal and Objective

​

Delivering C.H.A.N.G.E. works with educators and youth group directors to identify middle to high school age students at public schools, charter schools and youth centers.

Our ambassadors, mentors and program facilitators will meet with the youth once per week at their respective school or center.

We conduct eight (75 minute) sessions during school hours, after-school, or as a Saturday class.

The objective is to accomplish the following:  

Build Self-Esteem and Self-Awareness in middle to high school age students by helping them better identify with who they are, what their influences are, and why they make certain decisions based on those influences (i.e., music, social media, gang affiliation) and other social triggers.

Improve Methods of Communications by encouraging candid and open dialogue amongst youth, while exposing them to various mediums of communication. Explain the impact, benefits and consequences when communicating through social media, internet, interviews, journal or formal writing, radio, television, and newspaper articles. They also learn interviewing and public speaking skills.

Provide Educational Stimulation by having tutorial services available to enhance and/or improve these young scholars' willingness to learn. Meet experts in the world of entrepreneurship, business and STEAM for those individuals to tell how their career or business impacts today’s world.

Professional Discovery helps them identify the difference between reality and false reality. Young people need to know that careers such as coding, editing, production, and engineering are available in the world of sports, television, film, medicine, politics, etc. Delivering C.H.A.N.G.E understands that youth need to see it before they can dream it. After they dream it, they have to understand that there is a work ethic, resilience and desire that must follow to overcome the challenges and obstacles that life will throw at them before they realize their dream.

Provide Social and Cultural Awareness by providing the youth with the opportunity to interact and socialize with people from different cultures, races, and socio-economic backgrounds. They are introduced to various forms of art, science, math, technology and other culturally stimulating aspects of life. They have an opportunity to visit a business or facility that will reveal opportunities that these youth were not aware of, including the arts of certain trades.

Promote and Encourage Healthy LifeStyles by emphasizing the importance of the Mind, Body and Finances. For mental health, we work with professionals to redirect the negative and idle mind to something positive and productive. For physical health, we work to relinquish the drug and alcohol use that causes youth to be depressed and dysfunctional. For financial health, we coach financial literacy and educate them to be owners and not just consumers.

Promote Volunteerism to others in need, i.e., flood relief, shelters, orphanages, hospices, hospitals, other youth programs, and communities that need a surge from youth presence.

​

Provide Mentoring and Accessibility to Professionals, Politicians, Athletes and Celebrities for the youth to meet, learn from, and have access to throughout the school year.

​

Develop and Implement an Awards and Incentive Program that will serve to show our youth that....... those who plant the seeds of greatness reap the harvest of greatness and many times is celebrated properly. Nothing is given to you. 

​

Identify Partnerships locally, statewide, nationwide and worldwide. Partnerships that will help these youth learn, grow and stay inspired.
